Midterms

Midterms are usually exciting because it's when many, even most, of the students finally begin to understand how screenwriting is different from prose writing and therefore start writing pages that meet basic standards. They stop shooting themselves in the foot. After all, screenwriting is the only form of writing about which you can admonish, Don't let your writing get in the way of your story!
