Not as much student work to look at as I remembered. Only two short scripts left to go.
Reserved at library Wheeler's book on Spacetime Physics. I would have understood this in high school but might not today. Curious -- because if I can, then I want to read about the new work being done with regard to time travel, work by "legitimate" scientists and not crackpots. But I don't want to tackle it as content so much as process, which means I need an elementary understanding of the mathematics behind it. Might be far too late for this, to catch up with what I knew what I thought I was a young hotshot mathematician.
To demonstrate how good my high school was, Pasadena High School, I was in my sophomore year at Cal Tech before I learned anything in math I hadn't already studied. Of course, a lot of this was independent study, encouraged by several excellent teachers. I loved high school. Very challenging and much support.
What a strange life: I loved high school, and I loved the Army -- each an incredible intellectual journey!
