This, Alexander Payne's first film, is an extraordinary accomplishment -- and very timely in the context of recent political events. Payne looks at pro-life v. pro-choice and finds both sides pretty damn silly in their extremes, and bases a great comedy and satire on what he sees. Funny, witty, bright, ah what fools we mortals be! If you missed the film, sprint out the door and get it immediately. Unless, of course, you are an ideologue in one of the camps above, in which case you may not appreciate the humor coming your way.
