You remember Ivan Pavlov. He's the father of "classical conditioning" who got those dogs to salivate at the sound of a bell. Depends a lot on repetition.

I've become a Pavlovian dog. I can't help it. Through great repetition, I've been conditioned to give the same response at the same stimulus. I'm helpless.
