The Conservative Case Against Sarah Palin

Check it out. Unlike some of my friends, I believe conservatism and intelligence are not mutually exclusive terms. This is why I was so shocked when George Will endorsed Palin. I think he may change his mind down the road.

The press is trying to do its job but so far they're afraid to let Palin be interviewed by reporters. I swear to God, I wouldn't be surprised if they figure out a way to spare her from the debate with Biden. This is all image and rhetoric (lying) because the most surface-scratching investigation into her actual political actions as mayor and governor has revealed major discrepancies between her rhetoric and the facts. But I think people see in her what they want to see, and the puppet masters are smart enough to know this act only works if you control the shadows. This is the most incredible political theater since Joe McCarthy.

I added a Palin Watch that ticks off the time until she is made available to the press. Not just to Fox News, to the press. (P.S. at 130pm: there's a report she'll do an interview with ABC news at midweek. Good if true! We'll see.)

I think the show has just begun.
