Harriet's opening

I was only at the reception for the first hour but that was long enough to see that her opening is a success.

She sold four pieces, including a major painting, which insures a successful opening in financial terms. Nice to see those red stickers go up!



I ran into a few folks I hadn't seen in a while. Always nice.

If I'd stayed longer, I'm sure I would have ran into more but I'm not good at such gatherings. Even sober ha ha.


Harriet was nervous, of course. "Will anybody come?" etc. "What if nobody buys anything?" etc. She ought to sleep well tonight.
