You have to look far and wide to find a plot as creatively bizarre as this story of two old men in a rest home, one who thinks he's Elvis, the other Pres. Kennedy, who discover and fight a soul-sucking mummy in their midst. This dark satire of many things social and political rises above the genre with touching reflections on aging and dying. Bubba Ho-tep must be a cult film by now.
