At one of the two bus stops available to me for coming to the university, a large house has been vacant and for rent for months. Today there were cars in the driveway. One was a van from a pest control company.
Before my bus came, I chatted with the pest control guy. Ends up he's a PSU graduate -- a philosophy major! From philosophy to pest control, he laughed. He does own his own company, and we had a good chat before he had to get back to work and my bus arrived.
