New rhythm

The home front will have a new rhythm with H gone. The main difference will be early mornings. I'm up two to four hours before she is, and I take care not to make noise. That changes. The music can come on at 5 a.m. if I feel like it. Sketch, our rat terrier, has to adjust as well since he lives closer to H's hours than to mine. He has to get used to crashing earlier (or more exactly, adjusting his trips outside to do his business).

The weather sucks again, and the forecast doesn't reach far enough to predict improvement. I need to get outside with the mower again. This time of year, a mowing lasts less than a week.

Piano class starts tomorrow again, and I'm eager to begin.

On the bus to campus this afternoon, had a flashback to one of my many embarrassing moments during my wild days. The stuff we do and manage to survive!
