Cal just upset #10 Oregon and Berkeley fans are going nuts. Fan energy is the best thing left in collegiate sports. Always fun to see the upset no matter who is playing.
And #3 Indiana upset #1 Michigan at home for more fan hysteria. A good night for the underdogs.

It wasn't an upset. As I so provocatively stated at my blog, Oregon is not a top-ten team, despite the voters' misguided judgments.

Of course it was an upset. Have you looked at the Pac 12 standings?
The Pac standings half way through the schedule mean nothing. You're calling this an upset when Oregon's best (only) point guard is on the shelf? I call it the equalizer.
Let's face it ... the only place favorite/upset makes concrete sense is in Las vegas and the bookies had Oregon the favorite, so Oregon WAS the favorite in the real world of money. End of discussion.
I didn't give Vegas a thought. I should have. I'd be rich!
