This afternoon we made some necessary important "homeowner" decisions, and we feel good about them. Indeed, we signed papers and rushed to have ice cream to celebrate. This solves an immediate problem and in a couple years should put us where we need to be. And the short term solution is perfect.
So, feeling good, I turn on the Mariners to see them taking a 3-0 lead into the 9th. Naturally they lost: bad news often follows on the heels of good news. A zero-sum universe.
