Teaching update

All the adjunct faculty, of which I am one, are being asked to submit updated resumes. Sounds like some thinning going on. In this regard, I feel confident, esp. since I started the screenwriting program in the first place, have been teaching it 11 years, always full classes with a waiting list, always good student evaluations. But this is a dangerous way to think when institutions or any large gathering of minds make decisions! Strange, very strange, things come out of committees. I've been there. The moral is ... what happens happen.

As e.e. cummings wrote in a different context, "as long as you and i have arms and lips which are for kissing and to sing with, who cares if some oneeyed sonofabitch invents an instrument to measure Spring with?"

What a wonderful day it is!
