Screenwriting v. prose
Why do I find screenwriting so much easier and so much more fun than writing prose? A fact. Can't wait to get up and at the new splay. Getting back to the novel, a story that's actually more important to me (but which would require an X rating if written as a splay), is like pulling teeth. Go figure.

My brilliant daughter pointed out once that I may like plays and s-plays/movies, particularly the talkie kind, because I am a talker, grew up in a rather silent household and am always looking for a good conversation to listen to or partake in, even if I have to write both sides myself. Conversations seem to flow and surprise compared to the block stacking/unstacking/rearranging that prose can be at times.
