The return

Pick up H at the airport late tonight, and I'm looking forward to her return. Bachelorhood is a young man's sport. Actually, if through some fluke I outlive her, I think the first thing I'd do is leave town. Maybe to Idaho, to be close to my godsons, or maybe someplace WARM, like Texas or somewhere in the southwest. Or even Southern California, where I have more old friends than here (having outlived the latter). Hopefully this is a decision I'll never have to make.
