Home of Buddy Holly. And home of the Texas Tech Red Raiders, in a football game tonight against #1 Texas -- and really giving it to them in the first half. It's great fun to see underdogs do so well when they are the home team. The fans go bonkers, adding to the excitement. Texas has come from behind in past years to win, so we'll see what happens. The Raiders sure are looking good. 22-6 at halftime.
I have a soft spot in my heart for Texas. Lived in Dallas 2 years as a kid, started school there. Fond childhood memories of Texas. I could live in Texas again.
