Party time in Lubbock
What a second half! Like they've done before, like champions, Texas came roaring back and with a minute and a half left took a one point lead. Then the Raiders began a series of down and out short passes, trying to get close enough for a field goal. With ten seconds left, a deflected pass landed in the arms of a Texas defender -- who dropped it. On the next play, the Raiders scored a touchdown to win the game. As big an upset as Oregon State defeating USC in Corvallis a few weeks back, with just as big a party for the home town underdogs.
