A new term, busy week

With Labor Day gone, I put on my professor's cap and get ready for a new term. A very busy week ahead:
  • Today: write my new syllabus and finish the short comic video I started.
  • Wed: write my essay for the anthology.
  • Thur: shoot the lunch scene for Sunset Hearts.
  • Fri: shoot the male solo scenes, finishing shooting for Hearts.
  • Weekend: edit and upload Sunset Hearts.
  • Next week: make a DVD of my eight summer videos. Look over my old writing-in-progress projects and see if any sparks ignite. Do I begin NAILS IN MY COFFIN now or wait until I finish the Cold War novel?

I now will give my students three instead of two options for their screenwriting project, the new one being to write and make a short dramatic or comedic video. I'm very curious how many will choose this new option. Usually about 2/3 to 3/4 choose the "act one of a feature" option, the rest to write a short.

I have good energy and enthusiasm for starting the term. Onward.
