Here's why I'm so excited about my summer projects. This clip was shot with Flip Video. I find the image and sound to be astounding considering the camera looks like a toy. It picks up the TV across the room nicely as well. When I saw this after my wife had used it on vacation, I felt a zillion light bulbs go off in my brain. Let's make movies!

Charles Deemer teaches screenwriting at Portland State University. He is a playwright, novelist, screenwriter, and pioneer in hyperdrama. He was the editor of Oregon Literary Review and the artistic director of Small Screen Video.
