John Adams on liberty
Do terrorists deserve a fair trial? John Adams, who successfully defended British soldiers in the Boston Massacre, thought so. Teabaggers today apparently do not, or why else defame lawyers appointed to defend them, even calling such defenses treasonous? Many on the right today seem not to understand our own history or to admire the true principles of our Founding Fathers. (Thanks to Daily Dish for the link to the clip.)
