A full day

Spent the morning practicing piano, had a good class, then rushed to sit on a Master's defense committee, a grad student from Saudi Arabia who wrote a screenplay for her thesis, a delightful cross-cultural coming-of-age satiric comedy (are there enough genres in there: well, there's a romance, too). I think this is a marketable script if she can find the right producer. She has a good strategy for doing so (I admit I suggested it, but it seems to be working in its first phase). Fingers crossed for her. She, husband and child are back home to SA later this month.

Will start reading final projects tomorrow ... do about 1/4 each day for four days. Then the finals to read.
