Planning summer

An early morning trip to the P.O. to mail hyperdrama CD-ROMs to actors, then a coffee and jazz cruise to brood about the summer ahead. I'll be busier than now, it just won't feel as busy because I won't have my teaching responsibilities.

Music is front burner, and I'm going to study, in a systematic way, three areas in greater depth than before: melody, harmony and ear training. And I'll start composing, and see what happens.

Second burner projects are writing and the silent movie video.

Plus the usual home chores of the summer. We have a "clean out the basement" major job to do. And we have to start planning about selling the house -- or not.

A busy summer I look forward to.
