Civil War
Tonight is the big night. Ah, I wish some of my football buddies were still alive, we could have a party. None of H's friends, which make up what social life I have these days, gives a rat's ass, and I really don't want to embrace the temptation of watching the game in a sports bar, so it's home after class to watch at home, just the two of us (and I doubt if H would be watching if she were alone).
Coming up still is the Army-Navy game.
So to the doc at midmorn and maybe, and maybe not, I'll learn something about this lump. I assume I'll have test or tests and the results won't be in until later in the day, so I expect to learn nothing concrete this morning. The test results go online very quickly. Maybe I'll know something before the day is out.
A busy tomorrow, too ... Sketch back to the vet in the morn for the hopefully final checkup, then start reading term projects before an evening of videoing.
Then projects to read and lots of editing to do, the readers last night and the interview Friday.
After my grades are in, I hope to get into the Christmas spirit. Buy some stocking stuffers for H, which is what we are giving one another this year, our big gift being, we hope, an upgraded TiVo machine.
I want a good game. I really don't care that much who wins. I still have a hard time with the Ducks, my alma mater, because of their being a subsidiary of Nike and for wearing ballet costume uniforms.
