Not the game. Their search for a coach. ESPN reports that they offered the Boise State coach twice what Wash St paid Leach -- and the Boise coach ain't moving. So obviously UCLA could've gotten Leach if they'd wanted him, and they should have wanted him. Now UCLA seems to be looking at some mediocre pro asst coaches. The alumni blogs are sure the AD will screw this up, as he's screwed up 3 hires in the last ten years. They don't see hope until the AD is gone.
UCLA played a decent game and if they hadn't given up 14 pts on turnovers, it might have been an interesting game. They covered the spread for the gamblers.
Of course, all this is obscene, given the money involved. Leach got 2 mil a year, the Boise coach turned down 4.
