Same Time, Next Year
Watched the film tonight for the first time in decades. It's a well crafted, clever and sociologically insightful comedy about the decades of the 50s through 70s. Originally a stage play, it used to be performed all the time but I suppose theaters consider it dated now, even though I think it still plays well. I saw a great production at the Portland Civic Theatre with Scott and Victoria Parker in the roles. Has a Neil Simon feel to it although it was written by Bernard Slade.
