Portland's glory days

The loss of Jim Caputo brings to mind my piece on Peter Fornara and Portland's remarkable theater past. Caputo, fresh out of high school, was captivated by Fornara and worked for him. There has never been anything in Portland like Fornara's 1978 theater season.
