I began with a manuscript that was 116 pages. After the most recent edit a moment ago, it's down to 79 pages. I'll let it rest and see if that's about right. I think it is. Got rid of many, many poems and there may still be a few duds in the manuscript. We'll see. A manuscript without duds would be a strong book of poems. That's the goal.
I'm also looking forward to reading some of them Oct 5 at Blackbird Wineshop's First Wednesday.
