Fame and obscurity
I did my Honors Thesis at UCLA on the book length trilogy of the Arthurian cycle by E. A. Robinson. Robinson is forgotten today, although he won 3 Pulitzers in his day and even had the rare success of a best-selling book of poetry. His Pulitzers were Collected Poems (1921), The Man Who Died Twice (1924), and Tristram (1927), his last book in the trilogy. 3 Pulitzers in 7 years -- and virtually unread today! This is all you need to know about Fame.
