Books For Readers Who Don't Read Anymore - The Daily Dish | By Andrew Sullivan

Books For Readers Who Don't Read Anymore -

"[T]he model of book reading (and hence book writing) the iPad promotes seems fated, in time, to become the dominant one. The book itself, in this model, becomes an app, a multihypermediated experience to click through rather than a simple sequence of pages to read through."

This goes with my notion of a new literary form evolved from the contemporary spec screenplay, which is defined by minimalist rhetoric and an invitation to what screenwriters call vertical reading.
