Changes

Sletch and I cruised thru NW Pdx where I lived in 80s ... only time Pdx felt like home ... was bohemian then ... trendy now but recently out-trendied by Pearl District (old skid row)... in 80s two NYers, my agent and playwright OyamO, both told me NW reminded them of how Greenwich Village used to be ... Portland glory days long gone ... a different city now ... a yuppie city ... a very spendy city ... I don't belong here and only the university makes it work ... love PSU. My island of comfort.
