Morning catchup

First, turned cold and rainy again. Summer just doesn't want to hold on.

Errands, breakfast at Nobby's, and home to work. Dealt with a tune in my head, started writing a pop song, took me all morning to get the first two lines of the first verse right. I'm a slow composer! But it was fun. Especially since first I picked out the melody, then I figured out the key, then I figured out a workable harmony. Proud of myself. I'd like to finish the rest of the verse today but need a break -- and also need to do my daily pages of the splay.

Harmony is fascinating. I could really get into it.
