Former student doing well

I heard from my wonderful Saudi student from spring term, and she not only landed a great job back home but reports that "an emerging, local, liberal t.v. channel has asked me to join their team. I will be responsible for a weekly, half-hour, fast paced, recorded, entertainment program." Wow! At our last meeting I told her she may find herself in the right place at the right time, and she says this appears to be true. "Saudi is bursting with emerging talents who are interested in film-making and photography. Lots of bands are getting together (thanx to online social networks). The third film festival had taken place in Jeddah and a screenwriting competition is to take place by Rotana!" Aysha is going to do quite well.
