A serial killing by it's legal definition is any murder that has more then one victim, is done over a period of time and usually seeks victims of a target demographic. Since Van der sloot had more then one victim killed over a period of time and seeked a target demographic for his victims (that being young women) then would this now make him a serial killer instead of a murderer?
