Truth and consequences

There's a nice moment near the end of the film KINSEY. Kinsey is interviewing an older woman. His book on female sexuality has been trashed and he is depressed. The woman talks about her attraction to a female co-worker, how it became obsessive, ruined her marriage, alienated her children. Same o, same on, laments Kinsey, in this repressed society. No, no! says the woman. It's better now. After reading your book, I learned other women have felt the same way. I got the courage to confess my attraction -- and it was mutual! We've been together three years now and blissfully happy. You saved my life! And Kinsey realizes he's done some good in this world.
