Roller coaster ride
A very good morning of writing on Brinkley! On the right track, finally, I am pretty sure. A good thing, too, because the day opened with disappointing news from the marketplace, with which I am flirting again. But work has raised my spirits considerably.
I am reminded of a comment in a doc film I show my students. A shrink calls screenwriters "egomaniacs with low self esteem." That's great. He also talks about how writers can climb out of depression as soon as they get a good idea to work on.
