The universe

Beautiful conjunction in the sky this morning ... moon and what looks like Jupiter (need to check) only a moon diameter apart ... saw this coming yesterday but forgot to look it up ... we make such big trouble for such small creatures.

LATER. Yep, I was right. Spent too many years watching Jupiter in my telescope not to recognize it.
 If you're out around midnight tonight, you'll see the last quarter moon rise right alongside brilliant Jupiter in the northeast. The two will be only about 2 degrees apart and make an eye-catching sight. (Valley News Live)
