Starting the year

A great morning start on preparing the next draft, if I keep at it -- and why not as long as my energy holds up? -- I may get very close to a presentable draft today.

I didn't make it to midnight last night. I think the new millennium was the last New Year's I actually greeted, even doing so in a crowd at Pioneer Square downtown. Last night I made it to 11:30 p.m. and crashed.

And up full of editing energy this morning. The progress goes well.
