A disservice to good writers and all readers
I'm not a great fan of The Oregonian but the paper does a terrific job covering the arts, generally, due mostly to its first rate arts writers like Bob Hicks, Barry Johnson and others. It's shameful that the Kindle edition of the big O never includes them. And rarely includes any writing on the arts at all. Even their coverage of Sports is irrational: today, for example, the K edition includes both preview and post-game stories on the Blazer victory, and there are half a dozen repetitive stories of the victory, not from different angles so much as different drafts all included together. Does anyone edit this thing? The O's Kindle edition is a sad joke.
