Conferences II

My student conferences, one-on-one with each student, make for a very long, exhausting day but are well worth it. My focus is the tech aspects of screenwriting, format and rhetoric, so they can focus on storytelling for the remainder of the term. It gives me a chance to sit down with each and give personal advice about where they're at in these areas. Helps me remember their names! I'm bad at names. A good moment in the class.
