In the Age of Medical Miracles
Doc, I say
I'm interested in quality of life
not quantity of life
and as far as I'm concerned
your job is to make my passing
when the time comes
as comfortable as possible
and your job is not
to prolong my life with
medical miracles
medical wonders
not even tests
I've had a blessed life
and live on bonus time now
I'm letting Nature take its course
what happens happens
and it is not your job
to stop it from happening
She listened and she
thought about it
and then she said
