Opening day

Seattle has its first home game of the season, about to start, and it's all optimism to "turn things around." Ah, you gotta love the eternal faith of the home team fan.

We used to catch a couple games in Seattle each season, back when the team was relatively stable, but there's so much change in recent years, it's hard to remember who is on the team. And ex Mariners are doing great on other teams.

It was easier as a kid, with team stability of sorts, though less freedom for the players. Better for the fans, worse for the players.
