TGIF

Glad to be home on a chilly gray day. Just enough work from class to keep me busy at a relaxed pace over the next four days, with room for work on the novel, reading, watching football and such. If I keep at it, I can do it all at a slow pace, which is what I intend to do. Too old to rush around at the last minute.

Off to mail bills, get coffee in Starbucks has a parking place, which at this hour they may not, maybe cruise to clear the mind before coming home to work.

I'm really enjoying the new book on JFK by Chris Matthews, which shatters many myths about him with considerable documentation, regarding relationships with father, Bobby, etc. Curious how he'll handle the womanizing and the assassination. Last I heard Matthews believed the single assassin theory, which no one who has looked at the medical evidence or full eye-witness testimony should believe.
