The Deemer Interview
Charles Deemer teaches screenwriting at Portland State University. He is a playwright, novelist, screenwriter, and pioneer in hyperdrama. He was the editor of Oregon Literary Review and the artistic director of Small Screen Video.

On your recommendation I saw "The Descendants" yesterday, I was not disappointed. I wonder though how many will get the sub-text of the story that we are indeed 'the protector of the land'.
I lived in Hawaii (North Shore/Oahu) for many years, by the time the film ended I felt very homesick.
I enjoy your blog...
