I anticipate picking up quite a few scripts in class today, making for a busy weekend evaluating them. Which is fine.
I think my most recent flirtation with illness has ended. Feeling pretty good. In good spirits, too, despite all the horrors in the airwaves. The fall leaves remain gorgeous, a better object of contemplation than the daily news. This is one of the lessons my protagonist learns.
I need to reread Aeschylus. His plays are so good at cosmic tragedy.
The horror of human depravity can be trumped by the marvel of works from the human spirit. This just sells less products.
