How can you not love the resolve and sacrifices of the Egyptians in the streets? News appears to be breaking this morning, maybe the prez will step down. But if he's replaced by the current VP and the same ruling party, I doubt the protesters will accept this. It can still get very violent. But damn, those protesters deserve to get their real lives back. I wish we'd help them without causing an all-out war with all those other crooked regimes, who must be shaking in their boots now. It's a complicated mess in terms of realpolitik.
UPDATE. He ain't stepping down. Oh my.
