Filming the battle

I can't imagine directing the Battle of the Little Bighorn at the end of the film below. To say it's realistic is to understate its power. I wonder how many days of shooting it took.



This has been re-edited by the poster but still conveys the gist of the action. The original is less artsy-fartsy and much better.
