My netbook -- my second one, with Windows -- has changed the rhythm of my life. The first with Linux was cool for email and the web but the second, on which I could load all my work programs, has given me complete mobility, letting me edit and upload video on the run. About all I don't do here, and still do in my basement office, are music (with the keyboard and computer) and finances.
It is especially cool that I can shoot video, upload and edit here, and get it on the web from here. Not that I've done it yet ha ha. But I like the mobility and possibilities and may yet use them. I just feel "connected" in my semi-retired professional life whenever I have this.
