Hope you had a productive late night session. I feel that's the best time to write. Most of my stories are written after midnight.
My rhythm is a bit different. Last night, typically, I crashed early at 930, then got up at 2 and worked a few hours, then crashed for a couple more. I'm almost always in bed before 11, usually around 10, and almost always up around 2 or 3 in the morning, back to bed at 5 to catch the news and doze off a bit more.
I can almost not work for atleast 6 hours -- it was different in grad school though -- once I hit the bed. Ditto with waking up early. Late nights help. So do Kenny Burrel and coffee.
