I used to have a weekday routine where I'd rise at my usual early hour, put in some work, then take a break around 6:30 a.m. and check out the new haiku at the website of the Haiku Nurse, which she'd post before getting ready for work. Then she lost her job. Now the lazy poet is sleeping in! I mean, sometimes she doesn't post a new haiku till mid-morning! Or, judging from a recent haiku, she'd rather make love to her boyfriend than get to work.
What's the world coming to. You can't depend on anyone.

I think now that she's unemployed, she's often too busy to do the haiku on time. She's such a slacker.
