Blogs and apps miss too much. 2 reasons I chose this instead of LA Times ... much cheaper, only $6/mo. ... 20 cents an issue! ... and a feature I love, bylines are hot links. Love a story? Thinking very seriously of returning to AlphaSmart for routine writing, brush up on all the wp shortcuts I've forgotten.

Also learned there are well reviewed, inexpensive solar chargers for the Kindle.

I seem to be preparing for writing periods without electricity!
