Show them Dreams On Spec today, an excellent docu about 3 screenwriters trying to make it in L.A. Thursday I pick up final projects -- and the rest is history, well, after a ton of reading and grading.
Then a short break, a trip to the coast, come back for spring quarter and do it again. Only I'm adding a new book, Write Now! Screenwriting and I'm also adding The Kids Are All Right to analyze as film and next fall I'll add the script as well. Too late to add it this term.
Have I ever taught the class the same way twice? Not really. About 90% the same, usually, but I'm always tweaking it.
